"Paula Lena at the showtime"

Its a very famous quote that you can know a person through her/ his actions, and i wrote this article to show that this is real...

As we could realize in the interview of Malika Magazine Live, the artist internationally known Paula Lena teaches in her institute in the street Lambare 955,in the Capital city of Buenos Aires, and because of this reason she offered last november 19th the annual exhibition of her students group,who, in the Mediterranean auditorium in the street Tucuman 3378, they shared with us all the knowledge with a professor with so much experience and talent.

The subect of the show was the water and the different feelings related to this element and its absence,and it passed showing through traditional dances from different countries, as also through her original styles, how extensive this subect can be, beside with the peaceful voice of Paula,who told us before of each song,what we would see next,and its context.

In my opinion, i cannot less than highlight that the stage got full of life,light and joy with each style that they danced,and it was visible that they didnt only learned steps,but they also learned a style,i could even say a lifestyle, exactly as Paula say in her website where she invite to us to reconnect with our female side,so many times forgotten because of the agressive reality around us. This girls were not only dancing: they were feeling what they were rending an interpretation of the meaning of each piece on special.

The beginig was outstanding because they have chosen the song "under the sea" that inundated of joy the whole auditorium from the start to the end with their melodies, moves, colors and emotions softly mixed.Mermaids reappear later but this time with specific arabic music and choreography.

In the spirit of the whole presentation we could feel clearly the ideas and intentions of Paula, styles entirely original in some songs,and complete preservation of the traditions in another songs.

Usually people associate arabic music qith a bellydancer with a suit of two parts,dancing some song,even if there is much more,its common to relate in this way,and during this show, Paula and her students opened our minds with their art,with innovative choreography as exciting as fresh,beside,performed by students that more than students,are already artists,why i say that? because of the lightness, emotion,spontaneity and joy with which they took over the place, and all of this, result of the talent that each one has, and of course,of the talent of Paula as a professor.

For all of this and even more,that maybe words cannot express because of its obvious limitation is that i mention this famous quote about that you can know a person better through her/ his actions, because in the interview with Paula Lena we could listen to her and know about her,but it was watching her students that we can see in the facts the truth of her words,and it was a real pleasure for me to be witness of all of that.
